About Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel — founder of Rebalance Healing.

I help people and animals slow down, reset and reconnect through Reiki, sound healing, intuitive coaching and bodywork.

My work is all about creating calm, supportive spaces where you can breathe deeply, feel safe to let go, and begin finding your way back to yourself again.

Like many people, I know what it feels like to spend years constantly giving to others while ignoring your own needs. Pushing through stress, pressure and overwhelm. Holding everything together on the outside while quietly feeling exhausted underneath it all.

My own healing journey was shaped by periods of stress, loss, grief and emotional burnout, alongside years spent caring for and supporting others both personally and professionally. Over time, I began to realise how deeply our emotional wellbeing, nervous system and energy can affect every part of our lives — mentally, physically and emotionally.

That journey eventually led me to Reiki, sound healing and personal development.

What started as my own path towards healing and reconnection slowly became a passion for helping others do the same.

Through these practices, I experienced the importance of slowing down, feeling supported, regulating the nervous system and creating space to truly heal rather than simply survive.

That is what inspired me to create Rebalance Healing.

Today, I combine holistic therapies with grounded, real-life support to help people feel calmer, lighter, clearer and more connected again.

My sessions are gentle, intuitive and tailored to each individual. Some clients come for deep relaxation and stress relief, while others are navigating burnout, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, confidence struggles, grief, life transitions or simply feeling disconnected from themselves.

I also work with animals, including horses, dogs and cats, offering Reiki and equine massage therapy with a calm, trust-led approach. Animals respond so naturally to energy and touch, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch them soften, release tension and relax in their own way.

Alongside my healing work, I also have over 20 years of experience working as a nanny and household manager with private families in the UK and abroad. Supporting people has always been at the heart of what I do, and that experience has given me a deep understanding of emotional wellbeing, pressure, responsibility and the importance of feeling safe and supported.

My approach blends intuition with grounded therapeutic techniques, creating sessions that feel nurturing, calming and genuine — without judgement or pressure.

Whether you come for Reiki, sound healing, coaching or animal therapies, my aim is always the same:

To help you feel more balanced, more connected and more like yourself again.

Why I Do This Work

In my work with Reiki and sound healing, I have seen the profound transformation that happens when we simply allow ourselves the grace to be still. I believe we all carry an innate capacity for balance, yet the weight of the world often pulls us away from ourselves. My mission is to create a sanctuary where you can feel truly seen, supported, and held as you rediscover your own path to wellness.

A Gentle Invitation

If you are searching for peace and a soft place to land, I invite you to explore my journey and the philosophy behind my practice. Whether you resonate with my story or are simply seeking presence in your daily life, I am here to support you in a non-judgmental space focused entirely on your wellbeing.

My Journey

My path to holistic healing wasn't a straight line. It began in the heart of a high-pressure corporate career, where I eventually found myself physically exhausted and emotionally disconnected. I was living a life that looked successful on paper, but my nervous system was in a constant state of 'fight or flight.' This personal crisis became the catalyst for a profound shift in perspective, leading me to explore the healing arts not just as a hobby, but as a calling.

I started with Reiki, drawn to its quiet power and the way it seemed to bypass the analytical mind to find where the body held its deepest tensions. As I felt my own energy begin to shift, I was introduced to sound healing. The vibrations of crystal bowls and gongs resonated with me on a cellular level, offering a form of 'sound massage' that finally allowed my mind to go quiet. The combination of these two modalities felt like coming home.

The deeper I went into these practices, the more I realised how many of us are carrying unseen layers of stress and overwhelm. My training eventually expanded to include nervous system regulation and empowerment-based wellbeing, as I wanted to offer a truly integrative approach that addresses both the energetic and physiological aspects of our experience.

Today, my practice is rooted in the belief that healing is a return to our natural state of harmony. I don't see myself as a healer, but as a facilitator—someone who holds the space and provides the tools for your own body and spirit to do what they already know how to do. I integrate trauma-informed principles into every session, ensuring that every person who walks through my door feels safe, respected, and in control of their own journey.

My work today brings together Reiki, sound healing and empowerment based wellbeing practices to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves and rediscover their own inner balance.
