About the Event
Mindfulness Meditation is all about being ‘in the present moment’ and becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations. It allows us to experience these thoughts and sensations without reacting to them in an instinctive and habitual way. This method trains the mind to respond to situations and problems differently.
All are welcome to join Lynsey, Diane and Sarah at The Asha Centre for this quiet day of contemplation. The day begins with mindful practice settling the body and mind. We will move into a sequence of mindful meditations, mindful movement, and a shared lunch. Following the shared lunch we will walk the beautiful Asha Centre grounds and resume back for a relaxing gong bath with Sarah Soundhealing.
This day of mindful silence is for beginners and for those that have graduated from the 8 week course and are already using mindfulness in their daily lives. This is a wonderful opportunity to keep in touch with fellow students and enjoy growing new connections.
